Unfortunately, the corona crisis is still not over.
Some of the uncertainty this creates for our suppliers comes to us, in the form of cancellation fees and higher down payments.
Compared to previous years, this means that we, as the Lakebike Foundation, have more expenses leading up to the event. In case of cancellation, these fees are often not refunded.
Therefore, to ensure that the event can continue to be held in the future, the entry requirements have been modified.

If we, or the participant cancels the event before March 1, we will return 80% of the registration fee. From March 1 to May 1, it is 60%. After that, until the start of the event, there is basically no refund. We will then take stock of expenses incurred and return pro rata and only if there is sufficient balance.
In drafting these terms and conditions, the premise is that Stichting LakeBike organizes an event that is cost-prohibitive and not profitable.
